Is my data private? Yes. Your tasks and sessions are stored locally on your device. If you create an account, data syncs to our secure cloud for cross-device access. Your brain dump text is processed by AI but never stored on our servers after processing. Read our full Privacy Policy.
What's included for free? Every new user gets 5 free AI Brain Dumps to try the core feature. All other features - manual task creation, Focus Timer, Stats, streaks, and full task management - are completely free with no limits. What subscription plans are available?
How do I restore my purchase? Go to Settings → Subscription → tap "Restore Purchases." Your Pro status will be restored if you have an active subscription or lifetime purchase on your Apple ID.
How do I cancel my subscription? Go to Settings → Subscription → tap "Manage." This opens Apple's subscription management where you can change plans or cancel. You can also manage subscriptions in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
The AI isn't working / I'm getting an error Make sure you have an internet connection - the AI requires a network connection to process your brain dump. If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app.
How do I delete my account and data? Go to Settings → Delete Account. This removes all your cloud data. Uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device.
Voice input isn't working Make sure you've granted microphone and speech recognition permissions. Go to iPhone Settings → Knotly → enable Microphone and Speech Recognition.
